    SMS & Messaging Terms

Version 2.0 Effective April 1, 2026 Applies to paymullet.com and the Merchant Dashboard

    Plain-English summary

If you give us your phone number, we may send you transactional texts about your account (deposits, risk alerts, fraud warnings, 2FA codes) and, only if you separately opt in, promotional texts about PayMullet products. You can stop either category at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. This program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA Short Code Handbook, and the carriers’ 10DLC requirements.

To stop all messages: Reply STOP to any PayMullet text. You will receive one confirmation message. To restart, reply START. For help, reply HELP or email support@paymullet.com.

    Who this program is for

    • Merchants who provided a mobile number during sign-up or in the Dashboard under Settings → Notifications.
    • Website visitors who entered their number in a contact form and checked the opt-in box.
    • Cardholders who gave their number to a merchant that uses PayMullet receipts — with respect to transactional receipts only.

    The two message categories

Transactional (always required to operate your account)

Sent only to merchants and only about the operation of your account. These are not marketing. Examples:

    • Two-factor authentication codes
    • Deposit confirmations and ACH return notices
    • Fraud / risk alerts (chargeback received, unusual activity)
    • Outage notifications and scheduled maintenance windows

You may disable transactional SMS in the Dashboard, but we strongly recommend keeping fraud and 2FA alerts enabled. If you disable them, we shift to email and push notifications.

    Promotional (opt-in only)

Occasional messages about new features, pricing offers, industry updates, and events. You are never enrolled by default. You must affirmatively check an opt-in box that includes this disclosure:

By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from PayMullet at the mobile number I provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

    How to opt out

    • Reply STOP to any message. We process STOP requests within seconds and cease all sends within 48 hours as required by the CTIA handbook.
    • Email support@paymullet.com with subject “SMS Opt Out” and the number to remove.
    • Dashboard → Settings → Notifications → toggle off the channel you want.

    How to opt back in

Reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to any number you previously opted out from, or re-check the opt-in box in your Dashboard.

    HELP and customer service

Reply HELP to any number for a link to this page. Or email support@paymullet.com, or call 1-844-PAY-MULL (1-844-729-6855).

    Short codes and 10DLC numbers

We send from the following sender IDs. If you receive a text from anywhere else claiming to be PayMullet, treat it as phishing and forward to phish@paymullet.com.

    • Short code 42529 — Transactional alerts (deposits, fraud, 2FA)
    • 10DLC +1 (833) 729-6855 — Promotional and general support
    • 10DLC +1 (844) 729-6855 — Underwriting and risk escalations

    Message frequency

Transactional: variable, up to 20 messages per month for active merchants. Promotional: up to 4 messages per month, reduced to 1 during December and major holidays.

    Costs

PayMullet does not charge for sending or receiving. However, your carrier’s standard message and data rates apply. Check your wireless plan for details.

    Supported carriers

AT&T, T-Mobile USA, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile USA, US Cellular, and most MVNOs. T-Mobile: not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

    Your privacy

Phone numbers collected for SMS are treated as personal information under the Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing.

    TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and similar laws

This program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. §227), the FCC’s implementing regulations, the CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook, the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) where applicable, and analogous state laws (including Florida’s Telephone Solicitation Act, Oklahoma’s Telephone Solicitation Act, and Washington’s CEMA). Merchants are responsible for independently complying with the TCPA for any SMS they send to their own customers — PayMullet does not obtain consent on your behalf.

    Changes to this program

If we materially change this program (new categories, different frequency, new sender ID), we will text you a notice in advance and update the Version number above.
